Entraygues sur Truyère is a beautiful village that lies between the river Lot and Truyère. It has nice little streets with different half-timbered houses dating from the 15th to the 17th century. The castle that is on the water is unfortunately not to be visited, but is also very beautiful on the outside. At the foot of the castle you can look out over the two rivers and fish anglers and see canoes pass by. The Gothic bridge from the 13th century at the beginning of the village is beautiful and completely restored, a bridge that is very photogenic. In the summer months, an evening market is organized on Wednesday evenings. You can buy all kinds of regional products here that you can eat at the long tables and benches. Cozy with your plate full of hot and or cold things a bottle of wine with it and then you can immerse yourself in the good French life.

When you drive a little further, you can go to one of the vineyards. You can taste and buy the le Fel wine at: Jean-Marc Viguier (Vins d'Entraygues - Le Fel) Le Buis 12140 Entraygues-sur-Truyère. You are kindly spoken here in English or French.

After wine tasting and buying you can still visit a gallery where changing ceramics exhibitions are. The gallery is in a special and modern building and the view from the back is beautiful. Gallery du Don Le Don du Fel 12140 Le Fel
